Hsiu Norcott and Marilene Sawaf will be displaying their paintings during the month of May at 263 Art Gallery located at 263 Main Street in Nashua, NH.
The Opening and Reception will be on Saturday, May 7th from 3 to 6 pm. Refresments and desserts will be served and the Opening is free to the public
The Gallery is located on the first floor of the beautiful Historical Victorian House located on Main Street.
Hsiu Norcott paints with the technique of the Traditional Royal Court Art of China. She uses her style to describe a world of flowers, birds and animals while taking us on a tour of the World of Ancient China. Her paintings can be viewed at http://www.hsiunorcottart.blogspot.com/
Her recent prizes are the 2011 Juror Award at the Currier Museum of Art and the First Prize in watercolor at the Greeley Park Art Show
Marilene Sawaf is a member of the Copley Art Society of Boston and the winner of the 2008 and 2006 Georgepoulos and Ezechiel Straw Awards at the Currier Museum of Art.
In her style she mixes elements of her past, people in her life to Oriental Carpet Designs, Medieval themes and Venetian Arches.
